WE KNOW THERE IS A WARRIOR IN THE HEART OF EVERY WOMAN. She is STRONG, DETERMINED and POWERFUL. Challenge yourself, challenge others and register for Woman2Warrior, a women's only,obstacle adventure race benefiting Easter Seals Alberta and Albertans with disabilities and medical conditions.

Woman2Warrior is an optional timed walk/run covering 3 or 5 kms of trails, track, and grass. The course features over 20+ obstacles to test your strength, agility, balance, and sense of adventure. 

Each individual or team member must pay a registration fee of $125/each or fundraising one of the three fundraising incentives ($250, $500, $1,000) which qualifies you for ballots for the wonderful prizing.

Fundraising Draw Examples: $250 gets one ballot in that draw (TBA); $500 gets you two ballots in $250 draw and one ballot in $500 draw (TBA); $1,000 get you four ballots in the $250 draw, two ballots in the $500 draw and one ballot in the $1,000 which is a provincial draw (Banff Getaway).

There will be awards & prizes for the top overall individuals and top team fundraisers, as well as for the competitive warriors plus prizing for best dressed individual and best dressed team.

OBSTACLES 

As a warrior you should be prepared to lift, climb, crawl, jump, run/walk, and possibly get a little dirty. There will be over 20+ obstacles which includes the use of some of the Canadian Forces Base obstacles.

TRAINING BEFORE THE EVENT

The Running Room offers free running group sessions at their locations (click here for more information).

REGISTRATION AND HEAT CATEGORIES

Registration Categories:  Student (14-17 years); Open (18-39 years); Masters (40 and over)

Heat Categories:  Competitive Athletes (Timed Warriors) and Recreation Athletes

PRIZES

There will be prizes for Top Fundraising Individual, Top Fundraising Team, and Best Costume

MEDALS

All finishers receive a participants medal for completion (to be presented as warrior cross the finish line). The top competitive warrior will face off against the top competitive gladiator at 2:30 PM. Medals for the competitive athletes will be provided for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the Closing Ceremonies at 3:30 pm.
