WE KNOW THERE IS A GLADIATOR IN EVERY MAN. He is STRONG, DETERMINED and POWERFUL. Challenge yourself, challenge others and register for Guy2Gladiator, an obstacle adventure race benefiting Easter Seals Alberta and Albertans with disabilities and medical conditions.

Guy2Gladiator is an optional timed walk/run covering 5 kms of trails, track, and grass. The course features over 20 obstacles to test your strength, agility, balance, and sense of adventure. You may enter as an individual or as a team, but each person must raise a minimum $125 to participate. There will be awards & prizes for the top overall fundraisers and finishers. Recruit the support of friends, family and co-workers to help you reach your fundraising goal!

Location: Canadian Forces Base Edmonton Garrison 

OBSTACLES 

As a gladiator you should be prepared to lift, climb, crawl, jump, run/walk, and possibly get a little dirty. There will be over 20 obstacles which includes the use of some of the Canadian Forces Base obstacles.

TRAINING BEFORE THE EVENT

We hope to offer Indoor Training Sessions before the event (Dates and locations to be determined). In addition, the Running Room offers free running group sessions at their locations (click here for more information).

REGISTRATION AND HEAT CATEGORIES

Registration Categories:  Youth (15-17 years); Open (18-39 years); Masters (40 and over)

Heat Categories:  Competitive Athletes (Timed Gladiators) and Recreation Athletes

PRIZES

There will be prizes for Top Fundraising Individual, Top Fundraising Team, and Best Costume

MEDALS

All finishers receive a participants medal for completion (to be presented as warrior cross the finish line).  Medals for the competitive athletes will be provided for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the Closing Ceremonies at 1:30 pm.
