Become an Ambassador!
Easter Seals Alberta is seeking two new Easter Seals Ambassadors, and we invite you to apply.
Becoming the Easter Seals Alberta Ambassador(s) will provide two unique individuals with the opportunity to be the face and voice of people with disabilities in Alberta. The Ambassador will represent Easter Seals at various events, fundraisers, media campaigns, and more for a one-year term. As the Easter Seals Alberta Ambassador, you will represent the incredible potential and extraordinary abilities of people with disabilities. The Ambassador is an individual who has benefited from one of our programs and who displays self-assurance and comfort when communicating in public (including with the media).
Benefits of Being The Ambassador
The Easter Seals Ambassador gains tremendous public communications and media relations experience while being given opportunities to meet and interact with political, corporate, and community leaders. It’s a great volunteer opportunity to add to any resume, and we would be happy to provide a letter of reference.
Role of The Ambassador
The Easter Seals Ambassador will be asked to attend a series of scheduled events throughout 2024-2025:
- Easter Seals Month
- Paper Egg Campaign
- Golf Tournament
- Fundraising events
- Red Shirt Day
- Camp opening
- Other media, engagement events, and donor appeals as required.
Application and Selection Process
Are you interested in being one of our 2024 Easter Seals Ambassador?
All applications are held in strict confidence. Easter Seals Alberta will personally review each application.
Selection of the Ambassador will involve consideration of the following:
