Easter Seals Alberta is seeking two new Ambassadors (one North & one South) for 2025!
Becoming the Easter Seals Alberta Ambassador(s) will provide two unique individuals with the opportunity to be the face and voice of people with disabilities in Alberta. The Ambassador will represent Easter Seals Alberta at various events, fundraisers, media campaigns, and more for a one-year term. As the Easter Seals Alberta Ambassador, you will represent the incredible potential and extraordinary abilities of people with disabilities. The Ambassador is an individual who has benefited from one of our programs and who displays self-assurance and comfort when communicating in public (including with the media).
Benefits of Being Our Ambassador
The Easter Seals Alberta Ambassador gains tremendous public communications and media relations experience while being given opportunities to meet and interact with political, corporate, and community leaders. It’s a great volunteer opportunity to add to any resume, and we would be happy to provide a letter of reference.
What We Need As Our Ambassador
- Ability to communicate (verbally, non-verbally, or through augmentative communication)
- Willingness to meet with people and ability to feel comfortable in a group setting
- Availability and willingness of family member(s) to accompany the Ambassador at events/functions as necessary
- Home location in Alberta
- Involvement with Easter Seals Alberta
What You’ll Do As Our Ambassador
- A video interview to share your story / introduce you as our 2025 Ambassador
- Create awareness videos
- Attend community events
- Other media, engagement events, and donor appeals as required

Please submit a three- five minute video including:
- Your name, age and where you live in Alberta
- Which Easter Seals Alberta program you participated in and your experience in that program
- Your interests and hobbies
- Why you wish to be the 2025 Ambassador
