Easter Seals Alberta announces a new CEO!

Easter Seals Alberta’s board of directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Katherine Such to Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2022. She will be succeeding Paula Telfer.

Since 1951, Easter Seals Alberta has supported individuals with disabilities and medical conditions. We strive to ensure that the resources they need for an independent and full life are available. Our mission is to provide services that foster inclusion, independence and recreation for individuals with disabilities and medical conditions.

“I am excited to be able to build off the amazing work that Easter Seals has been doing for the past 70 years and ensure stability and growth for the organization moving forward” says Katherine.

Katherine has been with Easter Seals for the past 5 years, most recently as the Acting CEO. She will provide leadership and strategic guidance for Easter Seals Camp Horizon, McQueen Home, Accessibility Supports and will participate fully in realizing our fundraising goals. To accomplish our mission in today’s changing landscape, we must evolve, innovate and lead transformation. Katherine is passionate about the opportunities to create new revenue streams and embracing change.
