Meet Our 2025 Ambassadors

We’re thrilled to announce our incredible 2025 Easter Seals Alberta Ambassadors!

This dynamic duo will be representing us throughout the year—attending events, sharing their stories, creating inspiring content, and spreading the word about the life-changing impact of Easter Seals Alberta.

Meet Cale

We’re thrilled to introduce Cale Hansen as our 2025 Northern Ambassador for Easter Seals Alberta!

At just 11 years old, Cale is already making waves as a passionate advocate for inclusion and accessibility. Cale lives with cerebral palsy and proudly uses his voice to spread awareness and make sure every kid feels like they belong—no matter their abilities.

Cale’s journey with Easter Seals Alberta began at Camp Horizon, where he experienced the magic of independence, adventure, and new friendships. Being away from home for the first time can be tough, but Camp Horizon helped put Cale at ease. His favourite parts of camp? The powered go-karts and climbing wall, of course!

Beyond camp, Cale is an energetic and vibrant kid who adores music—whether it’s singing with friends, listening to his favourite songs, or sharing a laugh through a tune. He also loves swimming, playing road hockey, and getting active in his community.

In May 2024, Cale had the incredible opportunity to speak at the Calgary Flames Alumni Golf Tournament, inspiring audiences with his story and message of resilience and belonging.

Cale embodies the heart of Easter Seals Alberta—bold, kind, unstoppable, and always working to build a more inclusive future for kids like him. We’re so proud to have him as our Northern Ambassador this year!

Meet Courtney

Courtney Dueck is our Northern Ambassador for 2025.

Courtney is 37 years young and grew up in the tiny town of Miami, Manitoba (population: 300!). Though her roots are small-town, her spirit is anything but—Courtney is known for her vibrant personality, creative hobbies, and powerful message of inclusion and resilience.

Born with a disability that doctors have never been able to diagnose, Courtney’s attitude is refreshingly fearless “I’m OK with it—because I’m me”.

Throughout her life, Courtney has embraced every challenge with grace and grit. She’s never let her disability define her, and instead, chooses to live life on her own terms. Whether it’s biking outdoors or diving into her favourite craft—diamond dotting (which she discovered during COVID and hasn’t stopped since!)—Courtney proves that joy is always within reach.

Courtney’s connection with Easter Seals runs deep. Before joining Easter Seals Alberta, she was actively involved with Easter Seals Manitoba, where she danced her way through four (yes, four!) seasons of their Dancing with Celebrities fundraiser. What began with a small group of four participants blossomed into a team of 12—featuring a diverse and inspiring cast, including a deaf team member whose talent on the dance floor lit up the room.

Don’t look at it as a disability. Look at it as an ability,” Courtney says.
“You can do anything you put your mind to.

Courtney, 2025 Easter Seals Alberta Ambassador

Courtney is passionate about inviting others into her world—from campfires at Easter Seals Camp Horizon to the dance floor, to everyday moments that make life meaningful. As an Ambassador, she’s ready to share her story, build connections, and help spread awareness about the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and community.

We’re so excited to see the amazing impact these two inspiring individuals will make as our 2025 Ambassadors. Join us in celebrating their leadership, passion, and dedication to the Easter Seals Alberta community!
