LEAP into Leadership

Thank you to the Hettie & Robert McLean Charitable Trust for your generous donation of $8,344 in support of our leadership camp, LEAP.

The LEAP program is for youth with disabilities looking to increase their independence, build confidence, and gain the ability to become advocates for themselves and other disabled individuals in their communities. This program includes: leadership theory, classroom-like sessions, and outdoor camp activities – all fully accessible. There is significant leadership training in areas such as effective communication, taking initiative, and public speaking. The goal of the program is for these youth to be able to be an advocate for themselves and others. This donation allows us to provide this camp at a subsidized rate and create the leaders and advocates of tomorrow. Thank you Hettie & Robert McLean Charitable Trust for your support!
