Thankful for the Gift of Mobility.

“Dear Easter Seals,
Thank you for meeting such a great need for our family. 20 years ago we contacted Easter Seals and you graciously provided us with a chair lift for our daughter Nicole who cannot walk without assistance and is unable to climb stairs.

In December of this past year, the chairlift no longer became serviceable. Getting Nicole up the stairs to her bedroom was not feasible as she is now a young adult of 31 years old and I myself and waiting for a knee replacement this fall after harvest. We were therefore forced to have her sleep on the couch in the living room until the new lift was installed.

Our request for assistance went out to Easter Seals who graciously funded her new lift!

What a happy girl she was when she used the lift for the first time and knew she was going to sleep in her own bed that evening.

Again, Thank you so much for supplying the much needed equipment. It was a very challenging year with a very late harvest and unsatisfactory harvest leaving us a bit short for an unforeseen expense such as this.
